Explore Majors Appointment
Individual advising appointment for students that need assistance in clarifying or choosing a major. Students complete the Focus 2 Career assessment and meet with an Explore Advisor to dig deeper about how their academic strengths connect to majors. Email the Explore Manager, Andy Gibson, at andygibson@tamu.edu to set up an appointment.

Explore Major/Career Course
A half semester, non-credit course (this means it’s free!) that focuses on providing students with learning opportunities to explore their strengths, best majors, and mental resilience skills. Students learn a process for choosing a major/career that will allow them to make informed decisions about choosing a major. This format allows students several weeks to process and implement strategies that they learn. Register in Howdy like other semester classes.

Majors and Minor Fair (Event)
This event allows Texas A&M students to explore majors, minors and possible career options. Students are invited to attend on the date and location below. Sign up at the below, but registration is not required to attend.

Choosing a Major and Career (Workshop)
This interactive presentation encourages students to engage in the process of making an informed decision about their major/career. Information is shared on common myth in choosing a major/career, a process for selecting a major/career, and resources at Texas A&M to help students determine direction that fits interests and skills.
